This book is also called “Meditations” today  and is still in print to this day and stoicism is growing in popularity as evidenced by all the self help books teaching it. Marcus Aurelius wrote this circa 100 AD. In a beautiful binding with five raised bands, gilt on spine and on top of pages with some foxing to the marbled end papers and pastedowns.
