Grossett & Dunlap for its production of this book in 1931 used the sheets from the seventh printing of this book and retaining the original design of the true first edition of this title. A less expensive alternative to the true first edition, first printing while retaining the iconic dust jacket. The book is very good with pages browned and no owner’s signatures, bookplates or other marks. The dust jacket has some tape repairs to the verso and closed tears to the edges and an amateur repair at the top of the spine. Good opportunity to own this classic dust jacketed book.
