The Olympia Press, Paris, 1955. Purchased in Paris at Shakespeare & Company in 2018. A near fine first edition in unread condition with some age spotting at the spine and an ownership initial in pencil to the upper right corner of the front free endpaper otherwise a really sharp first (1500 Francs on rear panel first state point). Slight vertical crease on front panel. No page turndowns, fresh and tight. J.P. Donleavy sharp witted literature, always entertaining. Not published in the US or Ireland until later due to censorship (debauchery is not a sin). His masterpiece in very collectible condition.
