The fabulous Western writer’s second book with an important inscription to gossip columnist and actress Hedda Hopper on the front free endpaper reading “To Hedda Hopper-whose column I have enjoyed for a long time, and who will I believe appreciate this story of some of the people who made our country strong Sincerely, Louis L’Amour July 8, 1956.” A very good first edition with a fantastic signature and inscription to Hedda Hopper. The book is a bit slanted and the dust jacket with some small chips and closed tears is not price clipped.
