A very good first edition with the first state point of no photographer’s credit given to the picture of Hemingway on the back panel. The book is clean and square with age toning to the pages and no writing, bookplates or owner’s signatures or marks of any kind. Scribner’s A present showing first edition. The dust jacket is not price clipped and has chipping as shown in the pictures but it is not faded as is typical of this dust jacket. Very bright dust jacket with the red not faded to pink.
